Hi, I’m Amnah.
I am an experience designer in Dallas, TX who is focused on creating meaningful experiences through inclusive design. I currently lead UI/UX design for Booz Allen Hamilton where I transform the digital experiences of users across multiple industries. I work closely with the federal government and other institutes including the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and The BRAIN Initiative to manage their full-site redesigns and modernization efforts.
My creative outlet is designing art prints and greeting cards for Minaret Paper Co., and interior decorating - I have a knack for clean, minimal design and truly appreciate minimal living and art.
Design
Approach
My design approach is simple and can be summed up in three core principals that I hold: empathy, consistency and collaboration.
Building a connection with the user through empathy. A user’s perspective helps us design better and for inclusivity. My goal is to always deliver designs that address the users needs.
Building a consistent design language. I am a strong believer and advocate for design systems. Design systems improves an organizations user experience and streamlines the entire design process from prototyping to the development workflow.
Collaborating with teammates to deliver the best innovative solutions. I have found that the more creative minds, the better the solutions. I thrive off of spaces where collaboration and teamwork culture is strong.
